Hello! I am from Phoenix, AZ and moved to Flagstaff to earn my degree in Exercise Science. I am studying Exercise Science to combine my interest in science and love for sports and exercise. Acceptance into the RISE Program at NAU has allowed me to pursue this interest through researching the effects of exercise and phytonutrients on redox signaling under my PI Dr. Tinna Traustadottir.
Since moving to Flagstaff, I have come to enjoy hiking and exploring the beautiful scenery of Northern Arizona. I am always listening to a variety of music that ranges across decades and genres. Aside from being an undergraduate researcher in NAU's RISE program, I am also the Vice President of NAU's Exercise Science Club and a member of the LatinX Student Union.
